In collaboration with the Diocesan Family Service Centre, Goa organised an Advent Recollection for couples of the Mapusa Deanery at Alverno Friary Chapel, Monte de Guirim. Around 40 persons were present. It began at 9.00 am with the praise and worship conducted by Amazel and Blazel. After that, there was an enlightening session by Sunny D’Sa on how to prepare for Christmas as a couple. After a short coffee break, there was a beautiful testimony shared by Carlos Ribeiro and his wife Maryanne on how they supported each other during difficult moments. Following that, James Kurian and his wife Nadisha gave a short discourse on the theology of the body. Adoration of the Blessed sacrament was conducted by Fr. Seville together with reconciliation for couples and he then celebrated the Holy Mass. The programme ended at 1.00pm.
